Medium Shelter at Hawthorn Park with picnic tables

All park shelter use permits and associated noise or beer permits must be paid for and secured a minimum of five days prior to the event.  A new system is in place for online registration. Click here to learn more.

The parks listed below have shelters available to reserve online with a credit card.  A small convenience fee applies when paying with a credit card.  Select the park you like and you will be directed to the web page with links to online reservations.

All parks and restrooms are cleaned daily.  Parks that have restroom buildings are open in the spring, summer, and early fall.

If reserving a shelter, we ask that you please pick up after your event is over and place trash in the barrels at the park.

**Note: No shelters will be available the week preceding or the weekend of camp leavenworth.**

To reserve pickleball courts, tennis courts, ball fields, Eagles batting cages or basketball courts, contact our department at parksandrec@firstcity.gov.
