Park Hours:  6 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily

This park consists of 20 acres of land, just outside the main gates of the VA. On April 17, 2020, a 9-hole disc golf course was installed. 

Fitness stations were installed a few years ago along the trail. Ten individual stations were sponsored by local businesses and organizations. Each station suggests various exercises to help achieve total body fitness. 

Occasionally, there are special events planned at the park. Any new uses must be approved by the National Park Service.  

Amenities:

  • Disk Golf Course - 9 holes - Course map and par sheet may be found below.
  • Walking Trail with Fitness Stations

Shelter - No electricity or water.  16' x 16' - Reserve by the day - 1 table included.  Minimum 48-hour advance purchase required, longer if noise and/or beer permits are needed.  Reserve online through Eventbrite (convenience fees apply).  $20 Resident/$30 Non-Resident

Park History:

The federal government donated the land for Ray Miller Park to the City in 1972, as part of President Nixon's Legacy of Parks program. Prior to that time, the land was part of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.
