Park Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily

This park, with its dual-use fields operates as both a youth soccer and flag football complex. The tennis courts are used for City and school tennis tournaments. This park contains several legacy trees donated by individuals in memory of a person, group, or special event.

Park History:

In 2020 the City of Leavenworth and the Leavenworth School District entered into an agreement to swap land. Now, the City owns David Brewer Park and the school district owns land by Richard Warren Middle School (formerly part of 10^th Avenue Park). The land, across the street from David Brewer School, was acquired in the early 1970s and consists of approximately eight acres.

The park was named after David Brewer, a prominent Leavenworth attorney, whose career quickly advanced him through the judicial levels after his arrival in Leavenworth in 1859. In 1889, President Benjamin Harrison nominated Judge Brewer as Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court where he served until his death in March of 1910. In 2013, a new building was constructed by the City of Leavenworth for restrooms and sports equipment storage. In Fall 2024, all new tennis nets were installed.
