Stubby Park was acquired in early 1927 by the City.  The park has been used for kids' soccer and is a popular sledding spot in the winter.

In 2020, new play equipment and an expanded parking lot was added to this park.  In 2023, a new restroom facility and a large shelter, and in 2024 new grills were added.
