Wollman Aquatic Center is part of beautiful Wollman Park located at 13th and Shawnee streets. This facility is open daily from Thursday, May 29 through mid-August. When USD 453 school starts in August, the facility is open weekends only through Labor Day. Hours, fees, amenities, and programs are shown below.

Splash Pad Hours: 10 a.m. until sunset
Splash Pad Activation: Look for the activation button in the concrete. It is located by the sidewalk going towards the Hawthorn Park shelter. Water will run for about five minutes, then turn off until someone pushes the activation button again. This helps conserve water while allowing complete access during splash pad hours.

Leavenworth City offices and the Riverfront Community Center will be closed Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day. Trash will be delayed throughout the week of May 26-30. There will be no curbside large item pick-up the week of May 26-30. The next opportunity for curbside large item pick-up is the week of June 2-6.
Wollman Aquatic Center will be open 1 p.m. Thursday, May 29 for its first operating day of the summer 2025 season. The previous opening on Memorial Day has been delayed because of the weather.
