City offices closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2026

City offices and the Riverfront Community Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

Trash will be delayed one day throughout the week of Jan. 19-24.

Trash normally scheduled for Monday Jan. 19 - will be picked up Tuesday Jan. 20

Trash normally scheduled for Tuesday Jan. 20 - will be picked up Wednesday Jan. 21

Trash normally scheduled for Wednesday Jan. 21 - will be picked up Thursday Jan. 22

Trash normally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 22 - will be picked up Friday Jan. 23

Trash normally scheduled for Friday Jan. 23 - will be picked up Jan. 24

Trash scheduled are subject to change during winter storms. The City of Leavenworth will post updated trash schedules should this happen. 

The City of Leavenworth will not conduct curbside large item trash pickup during holiday weeks.
