Wilson Ave Reconstruction

Wilson Avenue south of Limit Street is currently a narrow, two-lane roadway with open drainage ditches and no sidewalks. Industrial manufacturing facilities are located along the west side of Wilson Avenue, and large trucks regularly access these sites. While the east side of the roadway remains undeveloped, the City has received inquiries regarding potential future residential development.

This project will relocate the existing water main and reconstruct Wilson Avenue to include curb and gutter, an enclosed stormwater system, and a sidewalk on the west side of the street. The water main relocation will be funded through a 50/50 cost-sharing agreement with Leavenworth Waterworks.

Project plans and specifications were prepared by Wilson & Company, and the project was advertised for competitive bidding through the Bonfire/Euna online bidding platform.
