City of Leavenworth DOES NOT require a Business license or Contractor's license for General Contractors 

Please see bottom of this page for permit applications. Email all permit applications to the Inspections Department at permits@firstcity.org

Permits are required for driveway approaches and sidewalks that are within the public right-of-way

Driveway and sidewalks are required to meet the City of Leavenworth Infrastructure Standards (see at bottom of page)

City of Leavenworth does offer a sidewalk cost-share program. For additional information please contact Public Works at 913-684-0375.

A site plan is an aerial view of the property that shows your property boundaries, the house, and other significant structures. It also shows the setback distances between the driveway/sidewalk and property boundaries. You can get an aerial view of your property from our GIS Mapping website below.
