Get ready to snap, crackle, and pop at our annual 4th of July Celebration at Merritt Lake!

Fort Leavenworth visitors will be required to show a REAL ID form of identification at the gates to access the installation starting May 7, 2025. This requirement does not apply to service members, installation personnel, dependents or retirees who already possess a military ID, military dependent ID, a Common Access Card (CAC) or a federal government-issued PIV Card. Nothing has changed with the requirement to be vetted for access and receive a pass to be allowed to enter Fort Leavenworth. What has changed is visitors will need a Real ID to register at the VCC or on the online system.
