City offices and the Riverfront Community Center will close Monday, May 29 for Memorial Day. Trash service will be delayed one day throughout the week of May 29 - June 2.

  • Monday, May 29 - no trash collection
  • Tuesday, May 30 – regular Monday trash collection
  • Wednesday, May 31 - regular Tuesday collection
  • Thursday, June 1 - regular Wednesday collection
  • Friday, June 2 - regular Thursday collection

Wollman Aquatic Center, 1300 Shawnee St., will open for the season Monday, May 29. Open swim is daily 1-7:30 p.m. See schedule below for information.

The City of Leavenworth Splash Pad, 1100 Ohio Street, is also open for the season. Hours are 10 a.m. until sunset.

Accessible Swim - Fridays 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This is a swim time set aside for individuals with disabilities and their families and staffed by lifeguards. Enter using zero-depth pool feature or use our water wheelchair. Wollman Aquatic Center is equipped with plenty of shade structures and accessible restrooms, a family restroom, and shower. Regular pool entry fees.

Daily from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

*Friday mornings in June are reserved for swim meets and swim lesson make-up sessions. Friday mornings in July are reserved for lifeguard training and swim lesson make-up sessions.*
