Granite Seal road repair to begin mid-August

The City of Leavenworth is continuing its $2 million investment in City street repair in 2025 with several granite seal projects. In the video, Public Works Deputy Director Mike Stephen explains the value of using granite seal repair. Work is scheduled to begin in September and last 3 to 4 weeks, but is dependent upon weather.
 

List of streets scheduled to receive granite seal in 2025:

1.  20th Street - Dakota to Metropolitan

 2.  Ottawa Street – N. 17th to N. 13th

 3.  6th Street – Spruce to Olive

 4.  6th Street – Olive to Walnut

 5.  2nd Street – South of Olive to Chestnut

 6.  2nd Avenue – Thornton to Congress

 7.  7th Street – Doniphan to Rees

 8.  3rd Avenue – South of Santa Fe to Santa Fe

 9.  3rd Avenue – Santa Fe to Evergreen

10.  New Lawrence Road – Gatewood to Limit

11.  Tanglewood Street – New Lawrence to Tanglewood cul-de-sac

12.  Winchester Drive – Candlewood to Winchester cul-de-sac

13.  Winchester Drive – Candlewood to North of Remington

14.  Remington Lane – Winchester to Candlewood

15.  Virginia Circle – Limit to Goddard Circle

16.  Goddard Circle – Shrine Park to Virginia Circle

17.  Lawrence Avenue – Ohio to Kansas

18.  Limit Street – 20th to 15th

19.  Limit Street – East of Bridge to 4th
