City offices closed for Independence Day 2025

City offices and the Riverfront Community Center will be closed for Independence Day Friday, July 4. Wollman Aquatic Center will remain open, but close early at 5 p.m.

  • Trash schedules for Monday – Thursday will be unaffected. Friday’s trash will be picked up Saturday.
  • Trash for Friday, July 4 – will take place Saturday, July 5
  • There will be no large item pick-up the week of June 30-July 4.

Free First Saturday has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 12. This is a monthly event in which Leavenworth city residents may utilize the Brush Site and large item drop off with no additional fees.
