The City of Leavenworth is considering different methods for what it does with trash after it is collected from residents. At the May 20 Leavenworth City Commission Study Session, Commissioners were presented different options for waste disposal.

The City Commission is seeking public feedback about trash disposal. The survey below will be active until August 11, 2025. There will be a public forum for discussion of trash disposal 4-6 p.m. Wednesday August 6 at the Riverfront Community Center, 123 S. Esplanade. There is no agenda for the public forum. Members of the public may come and go as they choose.
