Maintenance Mechanic

The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified, motivated applicants for the full-time position of Maintenance Mechanic.  This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the city’s high-rise housing for lower income elderly and/or disabled residents.  This position responds to daily work orders, monitors mechanical equipment and utility and alarm systems, and performs maintenance tasks throughout the building.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years building or equipment maintenance experience; HS diploma or equivalent; learn complex repair processes; submit to training in specific maintenance functions; and possess valid state driver’s license at time of application. 

Starting Salary Range : $44,804-$56,005 plus excellent benefits package.
