Kennel Attendant

The City of Leavenworth is seeking qualified, motivated applicants to provide for the humane treatment and care of animals, mostly domestic, housed at the Animal Control Shelter.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Must have graduated high school or have an equivalent GED certificate; must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire; must possess, or obtain within 90 days of employment, a current, valid state driver’s license at time of application (and maintain for duration of employment) and meet insurability standards under fleet insurance policy; must not have any felony convictions; and shall be required to keep and maintain a phone at residence.

Starting Salary: $32,353 plus excellent benefit package.
